Does Kohl's hire people with charges on their record?

Hi, I have a interview at Kohl's and I was wondering whether or not they would be dismayed to hiring me. If I had a (dismissed) Charge for aiding and abetting larceny. It is going to be expunged, but not by the time of the interview. I have a friend who works their that is adamantly vouching for me. I have met with the hiring manager two times as well as numerous employees. I even came in to give my application to the hiring manager. She told me that corporate does all the hiring. Despite this I wonder if they would consider me.They are currently 20 people under staff. When filling out the application is asked if you had been found guilty of anything and I said no because I hadn't.
