Do you work at Kroger? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview? Any advice for someone trying to get in? |

Although you may have some luck in getting someone to respond to your post, you'll most likely get a much better response if you apply to the job directly. Try doing a Kroger search on Indeed and then click on the jobs that interest you the most. You'll be redirected to the website the job position is originally posted on and there you will find instructions on how to apply. Good luck! |

Those of you that are looking for a job at their local Kroger store, you need to fill out a paper application but most stores have their own kiosk to fill out an application or go to Kroger.com, go to careers tab and choose area you want to work ( zipcode ) fill application on line |

Depending on what department you work in, this is a nice place to work. Cashiers tend to have it more stressful just like the deli and customer service. You are usually not worked to the bone unless you work slow or it's a holiday/game day/ senior day. There is some down time and if you have good co-workers it could be quite fun.I know someone whose worked there for 3 years and they said pay was close to minimum wage, benefits were meh, but security is there. They won't fire you unless you are extremely bad. It's not stressful and there is room for growth in other depts or manager. Sadly this job isn't for everyone. |
