Not Too Good...

They have a new CEO now and the result has been layoffs and job freezes. Friends that I have who work there, say things are getting worse.

I live in Illinois and I have been trying to get into this company for years. Why is it so hard? Any tips on how to get a customer service or data entry job at the ones in Illinois?

I have worked for Lab Corp for 10 years. about 2 years ago I moved upstairs in my building still doing the same job just moved desk locations. Human resources made me come downtown and take a typing test (I had already been here 8 years) then when they went to interview me the girl asked me how I heard about the job at Lab Corp. I had my entrance badge and picture badge aroune my neck. SO Lab Corp not only knows nothing on paper they don't even know anything in person all she had to do was look around my neck to see I already worked for the company. In patient billing our turnaround is so bad we even loose people still in training. Don't work here!! I'm leaving as soon as I can!
