I had an interview recently for a position with Lennar through a staffing agency. I was told that Lennar has just started using this staffing agency. I know that I can do the work. Otherwise, I would have not bothered applying for it. Let me warn you. The application process consists of 2 timed tests. One is a complicated 20 minute math test. The other is a 12 minute complicated abstract test. Both tests are sadistic! You better be a math genius or out of school less than 10 years. I have been out of school more than 30 years so naturally I don't use that kind of math every day. Needless to say, I bombed both tests. The staffing agency did not know if Lennar is going to use my test results against me. I bet that they do and I won't be surprised. I recently completed a long term temp job doing the same kind of work that Lennar is looking to hire for and I have a positive reference letter from the job supervisor. Lennar has a copy of that letter.
What the heck is the purpose of those Math and Abstract tests with Lennar?
