How does Level 3 Communications stack up against the competition?

Level 3 stated to employees they ran out of money to finish the integration of the networks from the companies they purchased.

Level 3 also told employees they don't have the money to upgrade equipment. They are now using 'End of Life Cycle' equipment.

Level 3 is trying to show less losses to the stockholders per QTR since their stock nose dived. To show less losses they aren't putting money back into the network to upgrade end of life equipment and to finish the integration of the 6 companies they bought. They are more concerned with keeping the stock prices up by showing less losses than keeping up their networks.

Level 3 ran out of money to upgrade 'END OF LIFE CYCLE' equipment.

No more IOS upgrades and patches for the Juniper M160.
No more vendor support. There is probably enough used 'untested' parts around to use for awhile. Ebay always has used 'untested' parts.
