I was wondering if anyone was familiar with American Income Life. I am thinking about going to work for them and would like to know some information about them outside of their web site www.ailwashington.com. Anyone have any experience with them?

I apologize if this is not the right place to post this. Thanks in advance.

If the first thing the manager says is: "Your earning potential...." just get up and walk out and save yourself the aggrivation. If you are a glutton for punishment, ask this: How many employees have been employed this year? How many have left this year? What is the minimum sales requriements. Ask to talk to an agent that has been there 8 months, not a manager. How much does the company spends on advertising? What are the expected office hours?

They are a TORCHMARK Company,Just like Liberty National.I looked at their webpage
and knew it was Torchmark by all the "no cost" offers. No doubt,it will not be any different than the rest.Just read the post on Liberty. It takes work to
make it with any company.Good luck which ever directions you choose.

You can go onto wa sate web site and learn the ranking of Insurance carriers before you go to work for them.
TORCHMARK has 5 differnt company names under it. All the same co, basicall y the same products. Go on line to RIP OFF . com and you will learn as I did before hand that this co is known for not paying claims. They sell 0% coverage, howebver they pay out only 20% and the customer is left holding the bag.
I would ck all reputable web sites and the Insuance commissioners review before you listen to any managers advise. managers are pd a percentage of what YOU sell. There job is to run you like a dog and they sit in thier office counting all of their profits and commissions. You take the time, your gas, your energy. God forbid one of your customers has a claim and calls you about their non exisitant insurance you sold them.
Thses are just some of the negitive things I've researched myself.
\Good luck
