I worked for Liberty National. I do not want to say anything negative about the company. But what I will say, to a new agent it sounds like a good idea. If this is your first year in insurance I would not recommend LNL. If you are new to sales I would not recommend this company. As a new agent you have to maintain a level of production or you will be fired.

The policies are priced reasonably but other companies offer competitive rates.
If you are experienced in sales, why work for a captive company? As an individual agent I have control of the companies I work for and the level of my success. I should not be fired if I fall Ill and cannot perform. Or if I need to leave the state for a family emergency.

There are some agents that are very successful with this company. But as a new agent if your branch has poor managerial skills, you will have a hard time selling.

I have found a company that will allow you to grow and build your own agency and keep your recruits.
