It's always hard to know what to expect when going in for that interview -- and preparation can make all the difference. What is the interview process like at Liberty National Life Insurance?

Any advice on striking the right note?

Don't worry all you need to do is show up and you will be hired.

Is it a good job? They advertise no experience required, but I am always leary about going to a company with commissions only.

Ask the manager how long has a normal agent been employed at that agency, don't accept the statement that agents are usually promoted to Unit Manager. Not everyone can be a manager and press the question then ask how many agents have been hired this year and how many are still there. Standard (scripted) answer is: "Well, some people are not suited to work in this industry".

Loader2001 is sooo right! If you can walk in the door you will be hired. It appears as if Liberty National is geared to hire as many people as possible, and then when they fail due to useless leads or whatever else, they are terminated. Be wary of any company that gathers as many warm bodies as possible for a "show time" interview, and then signs up as many as possible without any real interview. This type hiring process is exactly like the MLM companies that are selling water filters, vacuum cleaners, etc. etc. Ask the questions and then go interview with some oter company.

I have been reading the topics surrounding this company. It seems like there is alot of disgruntled persons looking for a different avenue, different environment, maybe one that delivers instead of empty promises. I am willing to help you with different opportunities that would seriously help the members of this board. Please feel free to email me your resume at 100krecruiter@gmail.com at which time I will review it and find a fit that might interest you. The sooner you send it to me the faster things can change.......hopefully dramatically. Last but not least, I am based in Marietta but I operate within all 50 states.

Liberty National does hire a lot of people. The reason most leave is because they cant pass the state exam, which has to be done in the 1st 6 months of employment.
This does not make the company bad. Those that pass the state exam can work up to manager positions. The company is not a MLM company, you can stay an agent as long as you want to.We have some that have been agents for 20 yrs in our office.
Is it a good job? I think its a great job.
