Be honest and be yourself and and dress neatly.

They ask questions like.. What would you do if a customer is screaming and cursing at you??? And what does customer servicxe mean to you? and of course the most famous interview question of them all........ Why should we hire you???

It depends a lot upon the position for which you are applying. Most questions are behavioral based questions to see how you have handled situations in the past similar to what can be expected in your new role. No trick questions.

Be honest and give you best examples from previous situations.

i recently interviewed at lowe's my first interview was about 3 hrs long. first i interviewed with the hr manager and I basically asked him questions regarding lowe's and the position. that itself was about 20 to 30 minutes and then the other 2 1/2 hours i spent on testing on their system they had me answer questions online about stealing and honesty and drugs and then they had an HR q and a and the best answer to select they also had a math portion.
about 2 weeks after that I interviewed with the Regional HR manager and that was a behavioral based interview that was about 10 questions really long.
then about 2 weeks after that i was offered the position. I accepted and I tried to get in contact with the regional hr manager but she wouldn't answer my email i waited for 2 weeks she finally responed that friday of the last week and by then i had decided to withdraw from the position due to their lack of communication and the uncertainty of the location on where i would be working.

I'm applying for an assistant store manager position and the process has been long and frustrating......first I had an hour interview on the phone with a regional recruiter. She went over every job you have listed on your resume.
Then she told me I would be contacted in about a week to conduct a 3 Hour computer test. 2 hours about honesty, stealing etc and 1 hour of business acumen math, graphs, and logic type problems. You have basically 30 minutes for the math and 30 minutes for verbal.
Then 2 weeks later, I'm notified that I'll be interviewed by a store manager. That consisted of 14 structured questions. Biggest challenge, what commitment you couldn't achieve, how do you deal with tough situations, how did you achieve your goals, how did you persuade someone to your side,
how do you help others in their careers, how did you personally achieve extra sales......etc......All
in an hour timeframe........whew!!! The store manager writes down your answers and then this is entered into their system. Now I'm waiting to hear from a regional HR person......The store manager I spoke with has no openings, so that's a bit frustrating. Do they interview for future openings??? So now I'm waiting to hear if I'm in or what....

im a driver at lowes and it was a easy interview for me. i just kept saying the words custmer and respect they eat that up. lowes is a great place to work!!!! i love it. we hit a silver on or costmer focus and got 75.00$ more on our check this week. and the benfits are awsome me and 3 dep. is 130.00 every 2 weeks 65 a week good luck to you all

on my medical ins 130 2 weeks oops frogot so explain but their are alot of great things at lowes for their emp. sorry i cant spell for crap so no need to dog me out i allready know.
