Does this sound right to you?

I have a guy thats willing to sponsor me to join LPL. I just have to pay him 25k for training?
Does this sound right to you that know?

I was with another financial firm for a little while as a trainee. Never got to take S7.
I was let go before (to much work at time effecting study habits).

Anyway I am wanting to get back into finance now that things have cooled down with my work schedule a bit.
This sponsoring agent wants to build a new office etc... and told me he would sponsor me if I paid him 25k for training plus rent for my little office within his building( Which I have no problem with). Why should I do this?

Never been in the financial field, but when I read you post, it sent up a red flag in my mind. You should find out all you can about this "person"/"company"....investigate, research and investigate again.
No company that wants your skills would make you pay for training. A headhunter will charge a fee, which is justifiable as long as they're legit. But I would be careful about this so-called sponsor. Sounds like he's just trying to get his office built with nothing out of his pocket.
