This ad is a bunch of crapola - it's a listing for Brayton International Furniture in High Point, and Brayton has been running the same ad for the last year and a half. Aside from the fact that "employment recruiters" are in the same ethics league as used car salesmen and real estate salespeople - prepare to get screwed over.

I am very suspect of the Marketing Analsyt job being advertised in Atlanta. They have been running that ad for months with the come-on of "need somebody ASAP". I fell for it initially and sent in my resume. The recruiter (same one listed in current ad) acted like she had to have my resume in a certain format ASAP because the employer was making a decision within a few days. We talked late afternoon Friday and she asked to re-do my resume to a specific format (one that company uses) and send it to her ASAP because she was working that weekend on this placement. It was all so "urgent"! So I worked on it that night and e-mailed it early Saturday am. Never heard from her again. Sent her e-mails and left voice mail messages. She was definitely "resume fishing". It was a waste of time and very unprofessional. Ironically I've been able to interview for similar but better paying jobs without using a recruiter. I'm being to think that the Internet is making their jobs almost obsolete so many are using desperate and unethical tactics. I would not avoid recruiters, but I would proceed with caution.
