Jeff Jorres the CEO has gone on record that he does not believe in Diversity in the Workplace. He goes on to state that Diversity Candidates have a hard time managing which is why Manpower's stance is to place Diversity Candidates in non-managerial roles. This would explain why Manpower has less then .01% of Minority managers/executives in its' $19 billion dollar organization.

Jeff Jorres needs to be removed!

Better get Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton on the horn ASAP!!!! A very substantial donation to the Rainbow Push Coalition will remedy this problem

I see that you are in Milwaukee and therefore assume work @ Manpower HQ. While diversity of all types is in the co. "vision" statement and is in force at HQ, branch offices are another matter. When problems occur it must be taken to off site HR, usually in another state, where limbo and inertia reign. After resigning from the co., a person of position made demeaning and discriminatory comments about me
personally, adding that an atmosphere was created so that I would leave my position. These statements were made in the presence of a former co-worker.
I'm so relieved the "VP's" that are minorities are having such a wonderful experience, however I would suggest looking to the trenches where the real world is playing out.
