To those of you that want to badger Manpower, how did we (yes, I work for Manpower) make it as the most respected Employment Agency for 4 years running? True, Robert Half did bump us this year (slightly) but no other company can show the proof like we can. I am a Direct Hire Consultant for them and I am extremely happy and lucky to have this job. To those of you that say you sent your resume like 1000 times and whatnot, maybe there wasn't a match. Maybe you weren't qualified for the opening at the moment. Or maybe you are confusing Direct Hire with temporary work... There is a big difference there. Either way, say what you will but Manpower is in business to place the best candidate with our respected clients and we will continue to do so. I think I speak for everyone when I say we wish we could place all of you, but we can only work within the parameters that the clients provide us. Good Luck to all of you! |

Hello and thank you for your post. I have an upcoming interview with Manpower and I would like to bend your ear a bit in regards to the opportunity - The position is in permanent placement in Denver, Colorado. How do you find the commission structure? Is is fair market value. And the corporate structure? Your feedback is much appreciated. If you'd rather go off the record with details, please let me know. Thanks! |

I'm so happy that you posted a comment Jayson, thank you! Some of us may have been asking ourselves - 'Do they even care to hear what we think?'. Funny that you should mention the standings since they were part of our conversation at lunch today. Is this a domestic or worldwide standing? We speculated that it would be much easier to understand this being a worldwide statistic factoring in Europe with its large population and strong employee protection laws. Domestically I don't see it. No, we don't spend our freetime 'Manpower badgering' but its an understandable topic of conversation when my lunchmates are facing HUGE paycuts and dealing with highly untrustworthy management. I feel strongly enough about the mistreatment I witnessed and received during my 3 years under their thumb to speak out against blatent abuse of employees. |
