I signed up with Manpower in "04 and have never been called for a job unless it was $7-8 and out of town and because I did not accept these TWO 45 minute drives I have a bad record with them, go figure. My boyfriend has had some luck with 1 or 2 day assignments of SH_T work! Thank God he found a permanent job. But I have more than a few friends who Manpower just won't call and Rhonda is so rude. I even was put on a list for a factory, watched the videos and NEVER been called.....

Go ahead - Play a race card...Because YOU are not a skilled worker or not exactly what Manpower wants, it's automitcally a race issue...get your head out of the weeds. Your background is probably enough to only afford a $7-$8/hr position...take these jobs and build up your resume

I can play the race card I have worked at the 2nd largest law firm in toledo ohio and for two big banks so I am very skilled....You must be from Manpower with a reply like that....Minorities from Findlay know what I mean....

Being a Janitor for firms doesn't make you skilled...The reason you said you didn't accept a 7/8 an hour job is because of the commute...How skilled can you be if you're willing to take a 7 to 8 dollar job?

I temped thru Manpower on and off for 5 years. I am highly skilled, educated and experienced. As long as you didn't cross the Staffing Specialist you were fine. They hired me as a Staffing Specialist earlier this year and shortly thereafter I was fired...why...Because after a very busy week I commented that "I was glad it was Friday"! They said I was negative and fired me! How's that for service!

Have to say I highly doubt that's why you were fired...People's minds are so convoluted. If this truly happened then you know why you were fired...Can you really expect people to believe that you were fired because you said "Glad it's Friday"...Please come up with better excuses next time around...
