If you were to recieve 1000 hits a day for a job posting it would be impossible for someone to reply to every person. the goal is to find the top qualified candidate in a short amount of time. When a company sees 1000 of responses most companies wont respond due to the heavy volume of responses. This is a world of competition and people are not made to revovle around other people. Also the 1st impression that you give can be the only one that you get. Remeber companies look for the best people not just having excellent skills but having a great personality and how you present yourself can be a huge determining factor. My suggestion is if you are looking for work put your best foot forward and take time to represent yourselves well even when it comes to responding to a job posting. |

I applied for a position that was for mechanical assembly and I took my daughter in law in with me. They were very rude and even had the nerve to tell my daughter in law that her ID was fake which by the way it WASN'T. She told them they could call the department of trans. and verify the ID number as well and they told her to come back when she had a real one. How rude. I seriously doubt that I or anyone would take someone with them that would have a fake ID. Then I was told that the response would be immediately but after a few days I called back to ask about how the progress was going and they had no clue as to who I was. Only two people in the office you would think that they would talk to one another. So, after passing my call from one person to the next they then said that the customer was not interested. I have 12 years of the experience they are looking for . THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE. |
