Up to few years ago it was not so difficult to get into a Medical Physics residency from most scientific backgrounds. Nowadays established Medical Physicists, coming mostly from Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Chemistry Biology, and so fort, have suddenly become
snobbish and fussy splitting the hair over the background.
Does anyone have any clue where to find a place accepting physicists for medical physics training ?

Thank you in advance,
Mauede

I am looking for the same thing for the past 3 months. It seems that there are some post doc in some medical institutions but I was not able to find any anywhere. I was told that may be I could work for the clinical experience but for free. Or go to school for at least 2 years at Duke or in Texas at MD Anderson ...Please let me know if you hear something. I am based in Florida and will be willing to relocate if I can find training.
