Mergis has no Sourcing or Procurement Positions - they are bogus

they just want your resume & to come in for an "interview" which is more like a bullspit session...this position in particular is fake, not sure on other listings

They too emailed me with some bogus "Technology Director" position which requires heavy hands on desktop support, telephone support, and end user application support. Correct me if I'm wrong, but since when did anyone with such a title engage in such junior level crap kind of job duties? This fool also requested that I make time to stop by their Stamford, CT office, which I absolutely refuse to do after having had my time wasted with firms like Robert Halfass, Atlantis Partners, Remington, and the likes. Every job I've ever gotten in the past never required me to meet with the recruiter because frankly, they could care less what I look like because they make their commission and that's the end of it and to this day still don't know what I look like and don't care. What's with this nonsense of meeting candidates? What are they offering me a loan or a mortgage that they need to see me? Get me the job, make your money, and go about your business because I am not your buddy and don't care to be. When I need your services, I'll call you, but in the meantime, don't call me.
