They are just another temp/placement company. Also they are part of the Spherion company so just check there reviews and see. I wish Indeed had a way to weed out all these types of businesses |

Yes... Spherion was a lousy company before they changed their name. New name, same lousy organization. Stay clear of this dog. |

you are so right, they just waste your time. i have yet to get anything and they do not follow up on anything that they ask to do, you have to call them more than once after an interview to get some feed back, and then they act like they don't remember you. |

They've been placing this ad for about a year as far as I know, and apparently can't find a "qualified" candidate even though I know three people who applied and never heard a word even though they fit the requirements exactly. It's def. a phishing game to get resumes to meet quotas...send them a bogus resume with Wharton creds and Wall St firms and see if they respond. |

Recruiter's rude response from Mergis after I tell him his position for a "technology director" is total bullcrap: Despite your commentary about “nonsense†in the job description, this is a director of infrastructure role for a $10 billion $ asset management firm and yes it is hands on. You have been in three short term roles doing hands on support since you left the only long term role at a great shop, ------ and before that role had 4 short term support roles. I am no means looking for any reply or argument I just wanted to point out that I would thus never have a role that is not hands on for someone with your background. Accordingly, I respect your wishes to not be bothered by roles that are “absurd and silly†I will update the database and rest assured we will not run a role by you again. Good luck to you. I honestly and sincerely hope you find what you are looking for. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I don’t do desktop support at my level already and have absolutely nothing to do with telephones. I also don’t deal with Accpac or whatever other nonsense they’re throwing into this job description. For them to be asking a “technology manager†to deal with junior level desktop and application support issues is absurd and just silly. This is by no means what I would consider to be a senior level role just by reading all of this. |

Wish I'd seen these comments before I wasted my time and gas. I just returned from an "interview" with one of these dipsticks. The rep looked like she must have been about sixteen years old & was rude, confrontational, dismissive and generally unprofessional. Her interview was more of an interrogation; she didn't care anything about my skills or accomplishments, and seemed to think it terrible that I couldn't account for every waking hour of my past work history. When she finally dismissed me, I tore my resume up in front of her. She gave me a sarcastic "have a nice day," and stalked out. As I was collecting my coat, I heard this little bimbo shout at the top of her lungs, "I'M DONE WITH YOU! YOU'RE DEAD TO ME!!" Real professional, folks. . . |

I couldn't agree with you more. They're deceitful , misleading and just need to fulfill their weekly 'face to face' interview quotas. |
