It's always hard to know what to expect when going in for that interview -- and preparation can make all the difference. What is the interview process like at Merrill Lynch? Any advice on striking the right note? |

Thanks This all depends on the hiring manager. Unfortunately, there is no standard interview process as ML and monitored by their HR department (LTM). I suppose it's like this at most firms. It's really hit or miss. |

There were 3 interviews for me. They want to know WHY you want to be a financial advisor and what past sales experience will help you become successful in this career. If you expect to work 40 hours a week and do well, you will not get hired. They expect you to work well over 60 hours a week for the first few years, after which the hours become much more lenient. |
