What do you think - will Metro Mattress grow fast? Are they expanding their staff? How does Metro Mattress stack up against the competition?

metro is growing fast and constantly opening stores and looking for people to sell mattresses .
High turnover!!don't think the company culture can keep up with the demands for personel . Competition keeps their employees longer for somereason . and also can undersell Metro in most cases .Metro focus is to sell an off brand King Koil which can be bought at up to 1/2 the price of what Metro sells it for , If you can't sell their King Koil you job will be in jeopardy

Metro Mattress growth has slowed down most likely due to economy and loss of sales to competition. They are looking for market saturation rather than happy customers. It is owened by a former attorney if that gives you any clue. as far as the competition in most cases you will get a better mattress at a cheaper price elsewhere. So Metro makes sure you get two prices when you shop one when you walk in and a different price when you don't buy . Its a song and dance routine. They are told by their VP of sales to constantly keep at constantly you with the new low price until you buy . Its all a numbers game for them most people think they are getting a good deal so they won't shop around. When you add their add on's delivery take away cost they aren't even close to the competition. Very stressful atmosphere. Probably why the High Turnover
