Do Microsoft perform background checks. Do they check present and past employers, criminal records and education verification? I had my interview and im wondering when and if they will do background checks?

they will check references and background once they have selected their finalist(s). They do not do it for every single candidate. Their process is lengthy and a bit slow. It is best if you are not in a hurry
