If you think you even remotely qualify for a job at Motorola, you should apply. Motorola is one of the largest users of H1Bs in Illinois. For those that do not know, H1B visas are temporary visas that companies apply for claiming that they can not find US Citizens qualified for the position. These Visa holders have been taking quite a few of the engineering jobs. Motorola has laid of quite a few engineers only to turn around and hire H1Bs for the positions. You can lookup any company on what they have applied for from 2002-2006 at www.flcdatacenter.com/CaseH1B.aspx.
