Basically it is telephone sales. Whilst it is unquestionably a bit more up market than double glazing sales, it is none-the-less telesales. You will be targeted on making a number of fresh calls every day. It is a 'numbers game'. Make enough cold calls every day and some will turn positive. It is hard work and not many people can achieve the desired end result to earn good money.
