Every business has its own style. What is the office environment and culture like at MRINetwork?

Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers?

What is a typical day in the life of an employee at MRINetwork?

As someone who owned an MRINetwork franchise and who visited many UK offices, I can say that most offices are reasonably business focussed on what they are doing. As with any franchise, the local office has been paid for by that franchisee (or office manager/owner). So it follows that the culture is set by a motivated owner. However, the ethics are both set by the local owner/manager and of course by the franchisor. Now, MRINetwork is owed by CDI Corporation, a Philadelphia based company. Both of these have demonstrated some questionable business ethics. MRI represented someone as a real and regular franchisee, when his debts were growing to them year-on-year towards more than $300,000 USD (more than £170,000 UK Pounds). In addition his franchise contract had expired years earlier. MRINetwork's deception fooled everyone for years, including other real MRINetwork franchisee and clients alike. Read the facts and details of this and more on www.cdicorp.info and form your own opinion about them.

Interview Tips:

1.Ask how much MPR contributes to the 401K plan.
2.Ask how soon your gym memberships starts.
3.Ask to speak to three recruiters who have grossed on their W2's $200,000 and above annually for the past five years. Ask to speak to at least three recruiters who have grossed on their W2's $100,000 to $150,000 annually for the past five years.
4.Ask what industry they will have you recruit in and why. If another recruiter in the office is in that industry, ask to speak with them. Ask that recruiter how many placements they have made in the past year and what the average fee was.
5.Ask what their employee turnover rate is for that office.
6.Ask about the salary draw. If you go for three months without a placement and make one on the fourth month for $18,000, what can you expect to see in your check. Ask them to write it out showing the math.
7.Ask what your monthly contribution is to the health insurance plan, and what your annual out of pocket expenses will be for in-service and out-of-service health providers.
8.Ask what is fun about working at MRP, and then ask to speak to other recruiters who are having a “fun” time.
9.Ask if the owners were included in the average tenure of 8 years.
