Mueller Systems is a small company with grandiose (possibly delusional) visions of growth. Office culture is a mixed dynamic of personalities. There are many good people that are willing to cooperate and work together to get the job done, but the new management team tends to believe they can micro-manage their way to success. Financial performance often trumps other key performance indicators such as quality. Making monthly shipments is perceived as being more important than producing a quality product by many in management.
There are several strong leaders at Mueller Systems. Unfortunately, these leaders are often inept in the decision making process. The top management team rarely shares a unified vision for the company, and often posture in order to have a defensible position when things go awry rather than doing the right thing for the company.
The office environment is typical business casual, often more to the casual side. Friday is blue jean day. The office areas are marginal to okay, but the building looks like a dump. Bathroom facilities are very limited for the number of employees in the office.
