It's always hard to know what to expect when going in for that interview -- and preparation can make all the difference. What is the interview process like at New York Life? Any advice on striking the right note? |

The interview was very, very simple. ~ Tell me about yourself
Turns out this is Step 1 of a 3 step process. Step 1 is a screening process. I had to complete a brief aptitude questionnaire that is on their website, so I'm assuming I passed since I was able to attend the first step. Step 2 is sitting down w. several agents to really learn about the process and for me to ask questions Step 3 is about the compensation. The ball is in my court about if I want to take Step 2 and 3, or even take the job at this point. Its been hard to find any compliants online about working for New York Life. The only ones I saw were compliments about the co-workers, not the company. So I think I'm going to at least check out the rest of the company. |

Jah Rose-
Did you mean to say 'complaints'? How did things turn out? You sat down with agents because you were trying to become an agent? Or sales? What was the job title you were seeking? There is a posting for at "Customer Service Assistant"/"Service Assistant III".

I was contacting by someone from New York, and they wanted me to take the online survey. Did it, and waiting to hear back. I guess I want to know more about the sales positions.

I was contacted by NY Life. I have an appointment today. I wasn't asked to take any surveys or questionnaires online. |
