interested in sioux city in Sioux City, Iowa

Hi. I've applied at the call center here in Sioux City, had a very good telephone interview and have a face-to-face interview on Monday. The phone interview seemed very interested on my ability to learn new things and impliment them, as well as experience dealing with customers (both of which I have in spades). I also mentioned my experience in computers.

Right now, I've taken the initiative and gotten some written references to take to the f2f, including from fellow employees, some distributors I dealt with at work, and even a couple of customers.

I've seen the comments in the Flight Attendent thread about how at the f2f you were told at the end if you had it. Does anyone have any experience with the Call center type of process? Believe me, my background check is clean and drug test would be cleaner yet. Or any thoughts from experienced employees on what my chances could be?

many thanks :)

Former NWA call center Agent in Hicksville, New York

When I started with NWA in 1989 it was a one on one interview and then asked to go to DTW the next day for a drug test.
About 1996 or so NWA decided to hire a firm and teach NWA employees how to conduct interviews. I thought the interview process was a joke. You would think that you were applying for a job at the White House. I laughed at the new interview process and said that I would never had passed. Since my days with NWA, they have closed 6 reservation centers and built 2 new ones. One in HIB and the other in SUX to take advantage of the people in these cities. Do make sure you know what the job entails before going through the ridiculous amount of interviews. The only good thing I see at the end of the road is that you will be working for Delta. NWA will tell you if you get the job. Good Luck!
