I'm not sure how different the questions would be for customer service... but I applied for a Reservations Call center position and was hired. My phone interview basically had a brief moment asking about familiarity with computers, then the rest of it concerned with my experience with customers: how hands-on I was with them, dealing with any problems that might've happened with them, and if I ever had a particularly upset customer and how I handled them.

I hope this helps.

af in Los Angeles, California said: i worked at northwest for 3-1/2 years in the reservations dept. it was terrible. there is a very antagonistic atmosphere there. it's management vs. labor, the company vs. the customers. very dysfunctional and hostile. the management will give themselves large bonuses and salaries and cut the pay of the union labor. i belonged to the IAM which is a dysfunctional group as well. don't be fooled by their slogans or what they say coming out of bankruptcy - the work is hard and the pay is low. and the flight benefits have been cut back from what i understand because of the crowded flights.

in referance to you, use to be, flight attendant, you should stay with them no matter what, its easier to put up with all that bad news, then it is to find a new job, when you quit, they probably just said, now we're even, watch it get worse and worse for him,we'll just hire illegal aliens, they take it.(the abuse)

I just had a phone interview with Northwest airlines...does that mean I will be getting a f2f interview? and to all the people complaining about jobs and pay well, maybe you should look at your skills first, if you don't have a degree and you hop from job to job you are what you worth...I'm in college right now and think this job would be awesome while in school and taking my classes online....You are going to run into problems with any job...just think some people just need to grow up and realize that no job is perfect...So if anyone as any advice for the f2f let me know I'd greatly appreciate it
