I think it's disgusting. I checked out several jobs on oDesk and "employers" ask for miracles for very little pay. There are many employers on there that pay closer to what the work is worth but seriously, are you kidding me? First page Google results for $20? What planet are you on? Google doesn't give away first page results like candy, its work and its worth more than a measly $20. One of these days, I'm going to go through and tell all of the jackholes exactly what I think about what THEY think seo is worth. It's insulting people!

SEO is very valuable to a company. When you search for a service online, noone goes beyond page 1 of search results. SEO increases the page ranking of your company, which moves you up to page 1.
