What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable?

How does Panasonic stack up against the competition?

No rumors here. Panasonic is laying off!! They hired a bunch of people about a year ago and now some of them are getting laid off. Some of the layoffs are understandable as there is still a lot of dead wood there.

I have worked for over 10 years Panasonic it has been very difficult to work constant harassment by the management, company is concerned to evaluated by complete payroll security, but there was not how and where to report abuses by managers staff.
Any kinds of abuse becomes from manager staff, they almost cancel seminar business trip by adducing company low profits, but if manager trip it never happens, if sales target wasn't reached causes becomes from subordinated employees by argument didn't make requested job o collaborate, same if manager promise a big sales and couldn't be because market prices or technical reason have failed from subordinated employees.
Employee's applications objectives and evaluation manager it evaluation almost with a very low rate or modified by his self.
No one have control about manager rolls, if subordinated complains about managers, to branch president, these only translate as a comments to manager staff, in resume Panasonic have no way, low employees about complaints Panasonic stocks less research and these boast as precursors of ethical behaviour and others, because it lies.
