Here is some advice to those that actually do get an interview, CONFIRM YOUR INTERVIEW APPOINTMENT WITH THE PEPSI LOCATION YOU ARE INTERVIEWING AT. This is what happened to me: I rec'd a PEPSI BOTTLING GROUP JOB OPPORTUNITY UPDATE and applied for it, then a week later, I rec'd an email that they were going to do the phone interview (which really isn't an interview, they just confirm your information and tell you how much the position pays) and they told me to expect an email in the near future that would allow me to schedule a face-to-face interview, so I did that. I drove from my work in Anaheim, to the Riverside facility, and had to ask for time off to do so. I get to the Pepsi gate and guess what, no one answered the gate because the receptionist had already gone home!!! After about half an hour of sitting there, trying to get a hold of someone to no avail, I decided I'd call that pepsi job hotline number and explain to them the situation. No one answered, so I left a message. The next day, I did not receive a call back so I called them. I explained to them the situation and the woman who I was speaking to said "I understand that sir, your interview was removed for a later time." Huh? I drove 45 minutes out of my way, asked for time off and the interview was rescheduled and you didn't even tell me?!?!?! "Okay, so what time is it rescheduled for" I ask, and of course, the answer is "well, it doesn't say at this time but when and if it comes up, you will receive an email." What?!?! Are you kidding me? I drove 45 minutes out of my way, requested time off from my current place of employment, only to be rescheduled without being told, and being rescheduled to a date and time that might never exist? What a joke! So learn from me and call and ensure that you are scheduled for an interview, don't waste your time |

I interviewed at the Baldwin Park location for a Pre-Sales representative. I know I had more knowledge than the person who interviewed me. I received a rejection email a week later. I do not understand what part of my resume turned off the hiring manager. But in the end, driving 55 miles to Baldwin Park was rather far. So in a way, it was a blessing I did not get the job. |

Yea I received the same thing. I applied and automatically received an email to call for a phone interview. I called and some person picked up just to confirm my address etc... then the person told me they will send me an email to schedule an face to face interview. Is this a good thing? Also how long does it take before you receive the email for the face two face interview or are they just bs'ing me. Usually most places once you apply they send you a schedule for face interview right away, what is going on at those HR places, they just post jobs and forget to set up post interviews in their calendars or something? Oh well, luckily I have another company that I have an interview with, but I'll just wait a little in the meantime to see if and when they send me this interview. Is this real
