I know this thread was posted some time ago,but I will update it just to tell you a little bit about what the warehouse in merching jobs are like in pepsi. The warehouse if you are doing bulk is hard work.I worked 2nd shift started at 2:30 in the afternoon and we could not go home if the jobs not done .So there is alot of 12 to 18 hour days everday in the summer months. We only have 3 guys in the warehouse so it puts a great strain on your body to do this work.I did concrete work for 6 yrs and it does not even compare.Merching isn't all that bad if you can deal with people. I tried it for a little while but didnt like it dew to people,as I'm not a people person. But you throw a lot less cases than the warehouse but it to can be very demanding on your body aswell.I am about to be leaving pepsi in my area cause, I blew my bac out from all the long hours I put in there.I was only 31 when I messed it all up.To young to be going threw this crap.Just letting you know alittle about working there, and our pay wasn't bad either for our area.It also helped our shop is union. |
