The 23 year old should not have liked being told he didn't know what he was doing and you showed a complete lack of customer relations skills if you told him that. You represent(ed) Pepsi and you made an ass of yourself to a Pepsi client. That's the sort of valid reason people get fired for. |

maybe if my territory sales manager would have done his job when i first told him about problems in that store, it never would have escalated that far. and on a side note: the grocery manager was fired 2 weeks after i was. 2 worngs dont make a right, but i did my job to the best of my ability and it was one time incident. watch who you are calling an "ASS" jerk off! |

In corporate Amerika, more often than not, a Rep. is at fault no matter what the problem ! Many retailers are miserable, vindictive people who treat wholesalers like adversaries. Hint: when wholesalers make money, so do retailers, because you're creating sales, morons ! I put in 20+ years with a Fortune 300 corp., was generally treated sub-par by the corp. and retailers, but kept my dignity and fed my family to the very end.So pro-corp. and retailers in general can stick it where the sun don't shine. That Pepsi guy was probably right, but you have to choose your words carefully in the snake-pit of corp. Amerika !!! |

Criticizing management or even a team member out loud will get you fired, and if you do not change this bad habit your career will be a roller coaster ride. Change this bad habit immediately and rather than criticize be loyal to the brand!!!! If you came to work for me I would terminate your employment with my organization immediately before you spoil the rest. Change now!!!! |
