It depends on which part of the country you work, of course if you live in a diverse Market Unit, you will deal with different cultural groups which is something that Pepsi prides themselves on. It is true, but that is for every company. It is called a "Loyality Clause" which when you are hired you sign papers saying that while you are at work or have work attire on you will represent that company to fullest and if you are caught with the competitors product. I have worked with coke and you can not eat frito lays, drink pepsi, eat pizza hut/taco bell/kfc while you are at work or have work attire on or you will get fired. They dont want you to do outside of work either because you are putting money in the competitors pocket but they cant control that. Now I work for pepsi and it is the same thing only oppesite! |
