It's hard to give salary information because it will depend on the position/role you fill. In other words, hourly vs salary; sales or IT, Marketing or R&D; production or engineering. Travel is usually local (unless you are in sales where they are required to travel 50% of time).
Perdue benefits are actually pretty decent. Competitive rates for in-network providers, standard medical, dental, vision, Flex Spending Accts, 401k, tuition reimbursement, etc.
I would say best part about working for Perdue is the legacy of its employees. Perdue has employees that have been with the company for 20+ years, some longer. You don't see that kind of tenure anymore. Plus you get bulk products at a discount. Can't beat the prices anywhere!
