Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at PHH? Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers? What is a typical day in the life of an employee at PHH? |

PHH in Mount Laurel, NJ is one of the weirdest places I've ever worked. I was in the pricing department, and my manager and assistant manager had no previous experience--they were both manager and assistant manager together at the Marlton McDonald's! Unfortunately, they have both managed to work their way up, one is still a manager (despite being taken to court by another employee for sexual harrassment) and one is an analyst. Then after I quit I sold my house to the most difficult person I have ever met in my life--figures he worked for PHH, too. Everyone there has such an entitled attitude. It's a shame |

Wierd? That is an under statement. It is an asylum run by the inmates. Yes, you can wear jeans and sneakers on Fridays and, unless clients are visiting, on all other days. It is the only place i have ever worked where previous experience making sandwiches qualifies you to be a manager. The higher the employee level, the less people know. It is no wonder S&P just lowered the credit rating due to high employee turnover. |

rtwngnut is absolutely correct, it is asylum run by the inmates! Management of my former small department, which monitors the activities of other departments, was cited by NJDoL for deleting overtime hours in about June, 2005. To spin it, employees were cut a check and told an "accounting error" was in their favor. The Courier Post wrote an article on the case. The company uses phrases like "respect" and "family", but that does not apply to employees. In fact, I myself was victimized by workplace bullying by management. They are every bit as complicit in the subprime mess as any other company, such as Countrywide, with Alt A apps and practices that should have been closely regulated by the government but wasn't. |

LOL,, funny comments. But I must say that they are TRUE. I worked there for about 6 months and would never go back. |
