Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at Pilgrim's Pride?

Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers?

What is a typical day in the life of an employee at Pilgrim's Pride?

It seems lilke these guys have a high turnover rate. Contacts I've had before tell me people come & go from this place quite often. The thing I don't know is why. I would love to hear feedback from people who've been there why there's a steady stream of departures. You can tell by their job postings that its been the same ones on a very regular basis for years.

Well...I work at one of the Pilgrim's Pride Plant, the city will remain nameless...
It's the same as most other corporate politic places...The main focus...they will run chickens whether you are there or not. That is the goal.
As far as laid back, it depends on where you work..if it's corporate headquarters, it is still more laid back than some corps around....just watch your p's & q's and dot your i's and cross your t's and you'll be fine...If you work at a plant location...it can be quite laid back. Some office politics, some friendships...etc. You will work hard, make no mistake about that. But if you do a good job...you're in a stable position to be in. Fairly good benefits.

Sorry, but your city didn't remain nameless. It's in your signature.

Good comments, though.

Thanks.
