Pitney Bowe (Milpitas) is one of the worst companies that I have ever been a part of. There are several areas to work in at Pitney Bowe but they are all horrible. I was recently employed by Pitney Bowes as a driver and saw first hand what a terrible company it was. The management lack leadership skills, organization skills, motivation, team work and etc. Pitney Bowes and its managers only care about the sites bottom line. Imput(whether it's safety issues or operational matters) is asked for but never taken seriously or inacted because it will affect the bottom line. Employees have to work with broken equipment, old computers, and 1980's software that constantly crashes. If I could give anyone quality information;I would say do not waste your time the time of your families. If you investigate more you'll find it's even worse than what I'm reporting. The managers get ahead by stepping on the employees and passing the buck. Working at Walmart is better than this. |

I worked there for a month doing cold calling on Pitney Bowes customers. Everything I was told about the job and the environment by the manager turned out to be a lie. I was supposed to lie to the customers about what the service really was, an online credit card. The job was a waste of time, the service offered was a waste of time, and the info I was given about the customer did not even have the name of the decision maker. The money was great, for me, but from the company's point of view was insane. I was paid $23/ hr, PLUS the company paid the contractor probably double that. They, the three managers, could have interviwed me, and hired me, without the contractor. It was a nice place to work, but the situation was totally looney tune, even at $23 an hour. |

I agree also that Pitney Bowes is the WORST company I've ever worked for. They are so unprofessional. They run the mailroom at Thomas and Betts in Memphis, TN. I worked there for a short time and things seemes to go pretty smooth until they brought a new manager in. He was unprofessional, tried to run things that he didn't know how to do. He tried to tell the receptionist how to do her job and he knew nothing about it. Then, they fired some employees who were hard workers. Also, I knew of an employee who was pregnant and still willing to work. She would have morning sickness and they counted it against her if she had to run to the restroom. Thats so stupid. Their pay was jacked up with no advancement opportunities or raises. No overtime unless you were told at the last minute. ALso, their system to keep up with your time was so jacked up. |

You people have no idea. Pitney Bowes is a great company, and they take care of their employees. I worked there 5 years, and my husband still works for them. When they moved my job function to Florida, we were told 3 months in advance, and during the 3 months they took our job functions away, and told us that for the next three months it will be our job to find a job. And we were paid to look for another job. We came to work every day, and looked online for jobs. If we had an interview, we were paid to go on the interview. By the end of the 3 months, everyone that wanted a job, had a job. Pitney Bowes is great. |

I was lied to by a Pitney Bowes Rep. about my contract length. I said to her "I only need six months so give me your shortest lease". She said it was a year, I thought fine, a waste of six months but oh well. She signed me up for 3 years and 9 months, and yes an authorized person from our compnay signed WITHOUT READING. Yes, he should have read it, and then we would have discovered her dishonesty. When I sign something I like that to be CONFIRMATION of what I was told and we discussed.

Con't. This would force Pitney Bowes to offer shorter contract lengths believe me. I have even discovered they already have these elaborate phone recording systems already in use. The problem is, they are only using them to help THEM NOT US. Why don't they get these audio taped consents? Because then they could not trick and lie and then act innocent as if they did nothing wrong. Why hasn't anyone from this company been interested in doing an investigation on this representative that lied to me. Why are they not intereted infinding out if she has a pattern of doing this to others. We can stop this by forming a "class act" to force Pitney Bowes to get "authorized apprval" - particularly from the person that will be paying for and resposible - that is a huge commitment. I am starting a list of people who are interested in making this happen. I have spoken to a few attorneys. Please e-mail me your info. if you are interested in having this PROTECTION. We can make this happen. The credit card compnaies were froded to do it. And geez, wouldn't you WANT TO if you were Pitney Bowes. Its good, ethical business. Please reply to nancilynne68@yahoo.com I look forward to all of us making a difference. Thank you, Nanci Lynne |

I just learned on the internet a gentleman won 11.1 million dollar settlement for racial discrimination. This company really needs to be in the Hall of Shame |

I totally agree with most of the posts on here. PB is the worst company ever to work for, I would not wish my worst enemy on that place. If something ever happened here at my current job , and even if pitney would offer me a butt load of money I would never ever go back. My sanity is more important! |
