What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable? How does Pomeroy IT Solutions stack up against the competition? |

Do not waste your time with this joke of a company. Very poorly managed and constant turnover at upper mgt positions. They will stab you in the back in a heart beat. Stay away! |

Have a friend that used to work for them in IT. They are incompetent, they do get rid of people who are competent, and they like to waste the talents of their people. Let them sink into their own morass. |

My friend is a very intelligent and interesting person with a great deal of IT experience now going for various CISCO certifications. He worked for Pomeroy and got the golden shaft over some stuff. So he's back out into the job market looking again. A guy with a high IQ and a great deal of intelligence and manners and again unemployed. Some group of people there. |

I heard some negative comments about Pomeroy when I interviewed with them, but I chose to ignore because I liked the person that offered me the job and who was to be my supervisor. Unfortunately, that person quit two weeks after I started. I tried to ride it out. Ridiculous how that company operates. They do have some good people, but overall poor systemic policies. Basically, they need to learn how to treat their employees. They will never be successful until they do. |

A guy with a high IQ and a great deal of intelligence and manners and again unemployed. Some group of people there. You go to their website and there should be a place to submit your resume, they found me off of Monster.com but, Yeah I have been a Network Admin since 1998 now and have my MCSE, CCNP, and various HP, Lenovo and a bunch of various printer certifications and I was there for nine months until they laid me off and well ill just say I got to update most of my certifications and get back to work ,(I had been off due to a motorcycle accident) But my boss treated me very well and worked with me and my leg injury but the managers above him had me cut, they said due to lack of work ,but yeah I got a piece of that golden shaft myself! After they lost one of my main contracts that was a major Hospital in the Birmingham area it all went downhill fast, one thing there you have to be is very humble, you can’t be a Network Admin that will not do anything but work on servers and Wan, Lan’s, because they had me doing everything from replacing fusers in printers to installing a Office by Office Pc, Printer and whatever else needed to be done on a large contract they had me on for a Mortgage company. So go figure!! Before I Came there a group of very talented Microsoft, Cisco, and Unix Engineers worked there and they made a killing! they were actually getting what they were worth and then some ,but as my luck goes when I came on I had to take a huge pay cut and had to do like I said ,work on anything that came in ! I was labeled a Break fix HP, Lenovo Field Engineer, and I never even got to build or touch a server, but I got to get them to give me credits to |

They still have not made a decision, According to a contact, management cannot make up their minds. -- LOL I have never had a possible opportunity linger on this long. HMMM? The contact said "it is embarassing for them and does not speak well for the company to keep applicants on hold like this, and that I am not the only one in this situation". (RED FLAG) I was willing to hang on for a while but I am not so sure now. Thanks again ALL for your feedback. |

This company has to be the absolute worse company I have ever had the misfortune to work for. You are first given an interview after weeks of them rescheduling the interview and then you are told what a great opertunity for advancement there is and that is a bold face lie. I worked there for over two years and never got a raise. The work environment is very hostile. If you disagree with the supervisors on any matter, best pack your stuff, they will find a reason to fire you even if it means having coworkers call you on the phone and asking stupid querstions and giving you a hard wayy to go to try and get you to loose your temper. After they fire you, make sure you pack everthing that is yours, they will surely keep what you didn't take out the door on the first trip, cause there is no second trip in. Don't waste your time at this place unless you don't really have any self esteem, of if you just want to stay in one postion and get no raises..EVER! |
