What are the average starting salaries, bonuses, benefits and travel requirements like at PRC?

What do you like best about working at PRC? Are there any great perks or special treats for employees?

I worked for PRC and its the worst company and environment that I have EVER worked in. Management is careless and wreckless in managing their jobs and their employees. Everyone that I worked with hated their job and everyone is looking to get the hell out of there. I wish I never excepted that position. I strongly recommend that you look over this company and find a REAL job. I will NEVER make this mistake again!!!!

I would have to agree 110%. PRC is the worst company ever!!!! The management doesnt have a clue, the upper management is even worse. They lead by fear and not by example. PRC is one step above slave labor.

The starting wages differ depending on which center and account you are looking at. I have worked at PRC for almost three years, and I really enjoy my job. You need to find a campaign that you like. If you're not technical then don't apply or start training for a position helping people fix their computers. Same goes for sales; if you know you don't want to sell people things.. well then.. don't. They have good benefits, as well as 401k- they match you dollar for dollar in your first year, and 50% after that. The "disgruntled" employees on here are most likely incompetent slackers who were laid off for laziness (not coming into work.. yes, you will get fired!) or stupidity as "unknown in Denver, Colorado" provides us a perfect example with his spelling of "accepted". As far as postings claiming PRC only pays minimum wage- well that is also false. When I started PRC I was in Florida and minimum wage was 5.75/hr. That center started employees out at 8.50. I then transferred to Oklahoma with the company, and starting salaries here are 9.00/hr with minimum wage being 5.85.

Sorry to say this , however, benefits were not good. I paid a lot more for insurance that I have in the past and am currently at. Plus 401k was not dollar for dollar, only 50% even in the first year. As an HR person even I know that. Also, when you get your vacation you better use it as when you leave you even leave them with the company.

PRC is not a good place to work. If you have any doubts just do a search for articles about the company. They dont lie not like the Executive Leadership team.

Question? Is a 1,600 person per year turnover rate for a 500 member floor staff standard in a call center environment? Like you, I loved my job at PRC. I was Technical support for Verizon Wireless account. The insurance was good ... The problem was PRC poor training, poor supervision, low wages for the technical level of the job, dishonesty in the job description. Most employees were not fired but quit due to frustration and management duplicity and incompetence.

I agree with RodeHard in most. Job descriptions were very poorly written and the job interviews were a joke. I remember mine (for a professional)I was told I didn't have to do much traveling, what a joke I was gone at least 3 days a week to other locations. Plus, I would help with recruitment, turned out I was only person and never told I would be going from place to place and door to door to place up posters.

There is a posting on Monster.com in Tampa.
"Inbound Sales & Customer Service"

"$11.50 plus commission (average reps make $25k-$32k)"
"Guarantee Commission during the first 90 days"
"Monthly rewards program"
for
"40 hrs, 9:00am-9:00pm, work days are Mon-Sat"

Is that true?
Is there bait and switch?

(I don't have 2-3 year of sales and customer service experience. I have retail experience, a short period of outbound calling for a non-profit, and plenty of experience with easily irritated types. I wonder if that requirement is hard and fast)

I sent in an application a couple of weeks ago for an Administrative Assistant job.

By the time the "recruiter" is calling me today, I can't remember exactly what I applied for, but he said that he wanted to see if I was interested in a business-to-business/B2B sales position.

After I gave a few sentences about my background, it was his turn to talk. He was stumbling all over his words. "and um uh well um uh" His so-called sentences were at least 75% a chain of this stumbling and loss of words.

I put together the "B2B" and his extreme lack of professionalism or competence, and by the time he got to the end and "meet and greet" I knew pretty much what type of non-job it was.

I wonder what Verizon and "Atlantic Telephone and Telegraph" (AT&T) think about PRC using their names as examples of companies the position would "work with".

I still haven't gotten any response about the Admin Asst position.
