Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at Procter & Gamble?

Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers?

What is a typical day in the life of an employee at Procter & Gamble?

You do not want to work for Procter and Gamble, I quit a few weeks ago..yes management had the "soft touch" but the comapny moral is terrible and they want it ALL for nothing. The pay is terrible, you work long hours basically on your own dime, they are cheap cheap cheap and yet they have high demands for performance.....there is little competition, your job in sales is basically to hound managment to giving you all the display space, and knowcking out what little competition there is, makes the stock holders happy. If something is wrong, and you need further assistance on something out of your control and you speak to management they do not hear you...the attitude is just go and make it happen. this is all that they will ever aknowledge. They have not got the sales part down, very good at marketing, however they are not a Sales Company. Quite frankly, they are so Marketing heavy, they really don't need sales. If they produce a commercial, consumers flock to the stores to purchase. This kind of leaves you out in the way of making a contribution, and so it is not a very satisfying career choice.
I have also been concerned with their alignment with Iams...Iams is a very scary product, in my humble opinion.
Oh..and one thing is appaling...upper, management..on the National level..belive thier employees are always stealing from the comapany...this accounts for the low moral.
