Do you work at Professional Staffing Group? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview?

Any advice for someone trying to get in?

Here's some inside 411 on this place. First, 99% of the positions you see on any job board are only to peek your interest to bring you in, the position if FAKE! Second, you will be judged on every little aspect of your interview. The way you dress, the way you speak, the way you sit in the chair, whether you stand an shank a hand or not, etc. Some of these things are expected on a real interview, but from a staffing firm...(basically where a full suit with a white or blue button down shirt and you're considered a rock star) Third, Fake, very fake. One manager there said the first thing to think about when you walk into the interview is "how can this candidate make me money", "all I see are dollar signs". Fourth, they only are friendly because they are graded on their customer service and can only be promoted if they meet a certain score. You'll get a survey the day after your interview and another three weeks later asking you about your experience with PSG and the agent. They really don't care about how your experience was with the agent because that score doesn't count towards their score. The only on that matters is the question about how your experience with PSG was. That counts for everything. Therefore, you will not hear from PSG after the interview until three weeks later when the staffing specialist gets an automated email letting her/him know that you "the candidate" are about to get a post interview follow up survey. So they call you to try to boost their customer service score, not because they want to help you. Personally I was horrified how the place is like a machine without real care for the candidate, YOU. And is all about making themselves money by pumping you the candidate for information. They will pretend to care while getting the places you've interviewed and with whom you met so they can get leads to call on that company. They will try to low ball you with any job they offer you, FYI they make about 40% on placing any candidat
