Do you work at PROLAB? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview? Any advice for someone trying to get in? |

Hi my name is Shamia Black and I'm very interested in applying for a job with Pro Lab. I have two years and three months phlebotomy experience and I feel that I am very skilled and very available for a phlebotomist position. I would like to know if you all have a web site or contact number to were I could send my resume? Thankyou and if you would like to contact me, my number is (903) 283-5776. It would be very convient for me in the Tyler or Lindale, Texas area. |

Although you may have some luck in getting someone to respond to your post, you'll most likely get a much better response if you apply to the job directly. Try doing a "Prolab" search on Indeed at the top of the page and then click on the jobs that interest you the most. You'll be redirected to the website the job position is originally posted on and there you will find instructions on how to apply. Good luck! |

If I was you I would meet with some Prolab/MEDSTAFF workers first befor ever trying to work for this company. If you want to be treated like crap and want to work a thankless job this is the place to be. They will fire you or try to make you think you have to quit if you don't come back to work a week after you have had your baby, even with complications. What kind of place is it that doesn't even follow Texas Labor Laws? This place can't keep workers and will give you if your lucky a 25 cent raise. |

Working for this company could be compared to working in literal hell. No compassion for their employees, they do not comply with labor laws, the idea of a raise is laughable and the corporate office is corrupt and twisted because the upper levels hire all their friends with no medical experience, and decide to give them a six figure paycheck while their employees break their back, their cars, jump through unnecessary hoops, and go without sleep. They treat you like a slave, and not an employee. Please reconsider before applying there. |

As a worker, you can see what goes on from the back door. 1) TB test are not offered to new hire employee (exposing the patients to disease) 2) Vaccinations/hepatitis test/shots not verified or offered to new hire employees (exposing the patients to disease) 3) Drug screen not offered to new hire employees. (so if medication comes up missing from your drug cart you know who to blame) 4) No proper orientation was offered to go over hazards/HIPPA and other information that new hires have a right to know. 5) Offers VERY poor insurance that is expensive. 6) manages Phlebotomist with a slave mentality not caring if employees is sick (tries to force sick employees to work exposing patients to becoming ill). Over-work phlebotomist due to lack of staffing. During training we are told our lunch break is while we are traveling from one facility to the next. We are not allowed to take normal lunch breaks and never allowed to take regular 15 minutes breaks even after working 10 hours. |
