Right! Thanks Karma for hanging in there - the AG listened & investigated, largely b/c of your encouragement to everyone on here to file a complaint. I hope VK chokes on his CarbEnders. Whoo Hoo! Just watched the ABC video for the 3rd time. Sweet.

My wish (unlikely but I can wish) is that everyone gets the money owed to them; clients & the good employees alike. Everyone got screwed. Some of the 'dead' are just too stupid to know it, but they got screwed too. Irony.

The worst part is - the program really did work. Sad for those who won't benefit from it. For all who posted plans, drops, hints etc. Thanks so much!

Seenitall, im just very sad again for the employees who havent been paid. That is our next mission!!! They should contact the attorney general and the labor board in PA.

I cant take credit it was a group effort and for those who have been following through with the attorney general. Im almost positive that with the global media attention this will generate, more and more people will file and the money due will soar!!!! So thanks for your kind words, but i was just trying to help those in need!!!

We also need to expose the RAIN SKIN MEDSPA part as well to the attorney general and Stacey Burling. I think that is very important as well.

I emailed Stacy Burling but she did not get back to me.

However, I have been in contact with the PA Attorney General and I am SO happy to see this lawsuit filed. I could not be happier that Karian is being held accountable for HIS actions. I am so sick of the morons on her whining about how the "poor man" lost his business. This As$hole drove his business into the ground, and dragged loyal employees, dedicated clients, many senior citizens, and so many others down with him. He knew what he was doing, and he clearly has NO remorse or the closing and bankruptcy would have been executed in a way that didn't screw clients, or leave employees with bounced checks. Everyone still needs to contact their local state attorney general--the bigger this gets the more impossible it will be for him to get away with it!

THAT IS FRAUD in the banking industry. FRAUD i repeat. They cut a check that would not clear. YOU SHOULD DEFINATELY CONTACT THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND ALSO THE LABOR COMMISION... Dont let this slide make the call!!

It was cut from Pure Weight Loss back in late December I want to say. It may have even been early January. I am sending to the AG. The other thing guys..

We have the AG listening to the consumers, but there are TONS of victimized employees also. They need to take note of this too. We need to make sure that when future employers see we have worked for PUre... that they know we aren't shady people, too! They need to know that we were just as shocked as the consumers.

I just called the buffalo branch of the att gen...said they have gotten hundreds of calls so far. They are mailing me out a complaint form...so I did the on-line one with PA and now i'll get this done and mailed out.
I really hope they start reporting on how the employees have gotten screwed....I'm sure they will...i'm sure ALL the dirty laundry with be aired very soon

Nikky Fryer had an email nikkyfryer@rainskin.com for jobs on hotjobs or something else, so it is part of the same company and they HAD to have used funds from LA/PURE to open....???

I work(ed) for Pure Weight Loss corporate. While it's true that the owner, Vahan Karian opened Rain Skin Center. The rest of the story is that he closed that down and laid off all the employees after only being open for three weeks. And they weren't given any notice either. They got let go before we at Pure got let go.

Someone posted on this forum, WAY back, a link to a news story where people had bought gift cards to RainSkin and now that they were closed they were out a ton of money - some of the gc's were upwards of $300 or more. I was surprised that nothing came of that. Does anyone remember reading that story? If I can find it I'll post it again...
