raz this was a message from someone on another site.I told her about you. I she posted it to the wrong forum so I am giving it to you I was on the gold plan and misplaced my plan menu book. Is there anyway you can tell me what my servings should be? And what is good replacement for the take off juice and la lites as I have nothing. I was refered to you by an "angel" from franchisepick.com. I pray that you are able to help me as LAWL has left thousands out to dry:( Was this comment helpful? Yes / No Reply - Report abuse |

Ok, first if you don't have lites and are not replacing with something like the Luna bars you need to move to the purple plan. Purple plan:
The protein sizes are basically 8 ounces for lean choices like white meat chicken and 6 ounces for choices that are not as lean such as beef. Vegetables are 1 Cup raw or 1/2 cup cooked Fruit usually 1iece except those high in sugar like banana or pear is 1/2 Berries 3/4 cup Starch 1/2 potato, 1 slice lo cal bread, pasta and rice 1/3 cup Dairy 2 ounces fat free cheese, yogurt, 8 ounces fat free milk Fat generally a teaspoon except for cream cheese or Mayonnaise which are a tablespoon For the Fast forward juice...if you want to do either a Fast forward or a take off you can use 4 oranges (each day) in place of the juice...it works quite well. If there is anything else I can help with please let me know. Also, this is the only forum I receive an email from when someone posts...I got tired of reading all the back and forth between the people who got hurt and those who are still loyal. |

Ok raz I have nother one that was posted to the wrong forum. I will post it below Raz, First I want to thank you for your faithfulness on helping us along the way. I am just lost! I have nothing and have no idea where to go from here. I was on the gold plan, however I will be switching to the purple plan as I have read your recommendations for the gold plan without the lites. I just can't remember what the service sizes were (ounces, cups etc.) Also, I will do the 4 oranges for two days as well as a substitute for the take off juice. Can I juice them or should I eat them as is? Thanks again and may God bless you can keep you in his loving arms! |

The difference between gold and purple is that purple's proteins are 2 ounces bigger and that purple gets an additional vegetable. As far as the using the oranges for the Fast Forward phase I have never heard of anyone juicing them. I honestly don't know if this would change the effect or not. You could try it then let all of us know how it worked. |

This is a dumb question, please forgive me. I would have to eat 4 oranges for two days straight to replace the take off juice or I am diluting it with water? |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 6 months ago |
Yes, you eat 4 oranges a day for the 2 days. I'm not sure what you mean by diluting it? You still need to get your 64 ounces of water if that's what you mean. |

Francine, Your regular amount of exercise is at 4 1/2 hours per week. I don't know if you caught it when I told someone else that sometimes people need more food at slightly less than 5 hours. I'm going to try moving you to the Blue plan since you have lites. The serving sizes on blue are the same as gold. But, you will get 2 1/2 proteins and 3 starch. Try it for a week and get back to me right away if you haven't started losing. |

Hi, it's me again. I am on the purple plan like you suggested and I have added 1/2 protein because of the hunger issue, but I still find myself hungry all the time, especially at dinner. I try to save some extra food for dinner, but then I am hungry during the day. Do you have any meal suggestions that are more filling so I won't go off plan and onto an eating spree. |

Tammy, Are you exercising? If so, what type and how much? Are you working either long hours or "weird" not the usual 9 to 5 hours? And, have you started losing again, at all...even slowly? Besides answering these questions it would also be helpful if you sent me 3 days from your food diary...speaking of food diary are you weighing and measuring servings? Stick with me, we'll figure it out and get you to GOAL! I promise! |

2big4me, Cute name! Ok, you should go onto the gold plan if you are using the lites or a replacement. Purple plan if not. Gold:
Purple:
Proteins 6 ounces for very lean choices such as white meat chicken, 4 ounces for the not so lean choices. On purple the proteins are 2 ounces bigger Hope this helps and keep in touch! |

Twinsmom, Vegetable serving is 1 cup raw or 1/2 cup cooked. Also, I don't know where my brain was but for the fast forward or take off the vegetable servings need to be green vegetables. Hope this helps! |

Pack the lettuce in. You can actually have as much as 3 cups for a serving if you want. Lettuce is low low calorie and high in nutrition. |

I'm glad to see you pre-planning. Let's try a couple things. First, watch very carefully whether you're getting everything. For example, by my calculations it looks like you missed a vegetable day 1, a starch day 2, and there's isn't a fat scheduled for today. Check your peanut butter to see the sodium level. Between the peanut butter all 3 days and the Lean Cuisine I'm wondering if water retention might be part of the problem. Try some hot lemon water to see if that helps. I'm also thinking you might be having too much sugar right before bed with both the bar and the fruit. Try moving one or the other to earlier in the day. Maybe a second afternoon snack to cut the hunger before dinner? Let me know if this is helpful. |

Hi Raz, The help you are providing here is awesome!!! Thanks for everything you are doing! Can you help get me back on track. I did the plan about 4 years ago and lost 100 lbs. I'm 6' 2". When I started the plan I weighed 285 (started on Red plan with Lites) and finished at 185 (on the Purple plan with Lites). I'm now back at 230 lbs (fell off the wagon and got lazy) and want to get down to 180. I just bought enough Lites on eBay to give me 2 a day for the next 24 weeks. Which plan should I start on to get going again? Also, do I need to switch plans at a certain point and which do I go to? I walk 3.5 miles 3 times a week. Thanks again for the help!

trisha1960 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania said: "I have 1900.00 PLUS tied up into this crap............It was a great plan while it was working..... Hi Trisha, That's awful, I completely feel for you. $1900 is a lot of money and it's not fair. But look at it this way. You basically spent $1900 on a plan you know works. You don't need them for it to work. As you can see on this forum you can still do it with other products. Indeed the counseling at the clinics help a lot but so can your peers and being on this site. I know that I've spent more than $1000 on this program easy. So really, you don't have to think the money you "lost" is a waste, use it as incentive to keep at the program. So I say it IS worth it to stick to this plan. Don't give up! You have the resources, so you have no excuse. Just because they closed down and you spent all that money on "nothing" doesn't mean you can't do it. Instead of getting mad and frustrated about the money you lost, use those emotions to propel you to stick to the plan and see how far it gets you so that money won't be in vain. A few years ago I lost 40lbs and 30lbs of that was in the first 3 months. I stopped after that year and well now I'm back on it again. After the boxes of LA Lite bars I have left, I'm definitely going to find a replacement bar such as the Luna Bars and use the 48 Hour Hollywood Miracle Diet instead of the Take Off. LAWL seriously charges an arm and a leg for their bars and Take Off juice. It's not worth it and gives them a bad name. I'm so glad to have found this site though. You all rock! |

Hello, Everyone! I posted in another spot on this site, but I think this is a better fit for me. I found a lot of success with LAWL a year ago, but I got lazy and the weight came back. Raxmataz, you're a marvel! I've got the info for the gold plan, but no lites. I'm going to sub in something similar, because they really made a difference to me last year. What do you suggest once I reach the stabilization and maintenance stages? Also, do you have any suggestions for a good substitute for the fudge brownie lites? Those kept me out of the candy... Thanks so much! |

I just wanted to share my excitement with finally trying the Luna bars as an LA Lite replacement. I only had about 17 boxes left of the LA bars so I knew I had to find something to replace them eventually. I read some posts with negative feedback concerning the Luna bars so I took that into consideration but low and behold.... they are absolutely fantastic! Of course, I only tried "Caramel Nut Brownie" and "Nutz Over Chocolate" but they are both SO good and SO pretty. I mean they look and taste like actual desserts and not a processed gummy bar. I am so happy about this. It just means that I can really make this a lifestyle choice without it breaking the bank! P.S. Down 3lbs since I restarted a week ago. About 26lbs more to go. |

Maria, Go back onto the red plan without lites 2 1/2 protein (lean like white meat chicken 8 oz. not as lean like beef 6 oz)
Let me know how it goes |

Sally, If you can't find a substitute for the lites switch to the purple plan. 2 protein (2 oz bigger than gold)

M85cathy, If you don't have lites move to the red plan. 2 1/2 protein (2oz bigger than blue)
If you still haver lites it's ok to stay on blue |

Trisha, At 181 you should either be on the gold with the lites or purple without the lites. Purple with lites is too much food. Are you weighing and measuring? Are you getting enough variety? Are you keeping a journal to be sure you're getting the proper exchanges? Weightloss is a deliacate balance. If you get too much you won't lose and what many people do not realize is that you also won't lose if you don't get enough. |
