Hi Raz, I wanted to take a few minutes out to say thank you! I speak for myself and the hundreds or maybe even thousands of people you have helped along the way with the fight to weight loss. What the enemy meant for evil, God has used for our good! There were so many people (including myself) who thought they had hit a dead end road, but thanks be to God who has given us an angel. God sees and knows all and I pray that He will enlarge your territory! I pray that He will open up a window and pour you out a blessing that you will not have room to receive. It is a blessing to know that God still has people He can trust. Even though the centers have closed, you provide the same level of care as if we were face to face. You take time out of your schedule to help us and we are ever so greatful. Just know you are appreciated. May God continue bless you and keep you in His loving arms! |

Okay, so I just joined LA a few days ago. I'm on day 2 of the cleanse and will be getting my menu plan tonight. I dont' want to do the bars at all because they are so much $ and I can't afford it right now, plus I don't see how eating two basically chocoalte bars a day is going to teach me anything. I want to learn strickly on food alone. Do you have any idea what plan they might put me on. I'm 5'2 and 177 pounds. |

Does LA weight loss allow you to have Sugar free candy and Sugar free chocolate? |

I have been reading posts here, and am wondering where there are LAWL centers. Here in the Chicago area, LAWL changed to Pure Weight Loss and then closed. I would love to get back on track as the program worked for me in the past. Are there any centers in this area? |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 6 months ago |
Alice, From what I know there are parts of the country that have franchise centers still. The corporate centers (where you are) closed because the corporate division went bankrupt. I formerly worked for a corporate center and have been helping people here. If you want my help I need to know your height, weight, how much you workout and whether you work long hours or not. |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 6 months ago |
Pbear Bear, You can have 3 pieces of sugar free candy (hard) each day. For chocolate fixes you can use the lite chocolate syrup and the fat free chocolate cool whip. The last 2 are considered condiments. |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 6 months ago |
Pbear Bear, If that center is using the color plans I would venture a guess at the purple plan if you're not going to do the bars. |

razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania said: Alice, Thanks for the quick response. I am 5'10", wt 200, walk 30-45 min/day. I work regular hours ( I teach) and was on the gold plan. Since there are no centers here, I no longer have lites or juice. I am currently on high blood pressure meds. I use no salt and cannot use the morton lite salt. I am also a cancer survivor and have lymphodema. Lots of problems, but I want to get back on track with the program. It works. AND- thank you for being here. You are an angel! |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 6 months ago |
Alice, Thaks for the detail in your response...it really helps me make decisions. Change to the purple plan since you don't have lites. The purple plan's protein portions are 2 ounces bigger than gold and purple has an additional vegetable. Otherwise you can you the figures in your gold book. |

Good Morning Raz, Thank you for the info. I greatly appreciate your help. Hopefully, I will stick to the plan-knowing that I need to be accountable to someone. Thanks for being here! |

Raz, Thanks for your help! Those are good ways to get chocolate fixes for sure!

Pbear, Without knowing all of the portion sizes I can't answer that question. I never dealt with the numbered plans. I can tell you that weight loss is a delicate balance. If they give you too much obviously you won't lose but believe it or not if they don't give you enough not only will you not lose you may gain. Try listening and see what happens after a week. |

razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 6 months ago |
anointedone, Are you weighing and measuring portions? How about variety are you getting it? Also, are you keeping a food diary and are you getting all servings? Also remind me what plan I have you on and what your height as well as current weight are so I can see if maybe your program needs a change...also have you changed amount of working out or work? Also...are you using some type of protein bar at this time? |
|
anointedone123 in Utica, New York 6 months ago |

anointedone, Move to red. I apologize. I missed your drop point. Make the switch and the losing should resume. 2 1/2 protein (same sizes as red plus)

hi raz
god bless anointedone |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 6 months ago |
anointedone, Just jump into the red plan without the bars. You don't want to do the Fast Forward too often. |
|
anointedone123 in Utica, New York 6 months ago |
hi raz thank you for getting back so soon as always you are prompt
god bless
|
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 6 months ago |
anointedone, The blue plan is actually less food than the red...the blue plan can only be done with the lites. When you reach your next drop point you will go onto the purple plan. Yes you can do the Fast Forward if it's been at least a month. If it's been less than a month just go onto the red plan. |
|

I want to do LAWL again- it's been 3 years. I'm 5'6" 240 pounds. Not very active and work a regular schedule. I do run after a busy 2 year old, which is why I've got to get healthy again. After doing the take-off (greens and unlimited protein), I went to the purple w/ lites, then gold w/ lites 2 weeks later. I do NOT want to do the lites again- I don't like them (I'm not a sweet eater) and want to eat whole foods when making healthy choices. What "plan" do I use w/ using NO LITES? I'm very appreciative! |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 5 months ago |
Elizabeth, Use the Red no lite plan. 2 1/2 Protien (same sizes as purple)
Drop to the purple no lite plan at 225. There will not be any more drops after purple. |
|
elizabeth jones in oxford, Alabama 5 months ago |
Raz- thanks for your help. I will start the red w/no lites you listed. What is the purple w/ no lites plan? Thanks! elizabeth |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 5 months ago |
Purple= 2 protein
|
|
elizabeth jones in oxford, Alabama 5 months ago |
Raz- I appreciate your quick and helpful response. Since I have a great sounding board (you), please tell me the rationale for eating the limited starches and proteins vs. eating any starch or protein any day while staying within the quantities on each plan. Also, why is there only one dairy choice? I'm surprised since so many woman are at risk for osteoporosis...I am eager to hear your thoughts. Thanks! eliz |
|
elizabeth jones in oxford, Alabama 5 months ago |
Raz- one more question...I was looking at your recommendation re. the purple no lites plan and how it differs from the purple w/ lites plan. If moving from the purple w/lites to purple no lites, should I not have a few extra carbs/proteins to make up for those calories not eaten in the lites during a day? Thanks, eliz |

Hi Maggy! Thanks for the news! I just ran to my Big Lots in Austin, TX and they had plenty of them! I grabbed 6 boxes of the chocolate meal replacements. Can't beat $3 for a 4-pack! Thanks again!

razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 5 months ago |
Elizabeth, The point where I told you to go to the purple without lites you would not have been on purple if you were using lites. If you were using the lites you would be on gold at that point. Gold has one less vegetable and the protein sizes are smaller. Since you're not using the lites I'm making up for this by giving you the purple plan. |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 5 months ago |
Elizabeth, In regards to your questions about why the different choices are limited the way they are I truly do not know. I am not a dietician I am simply someone who was trained to figure out which plan different people belong on. That being said, it is next to impossible to eat in a manner to lose and also get all of your required supplements so I recommend taking daily vitamins. These vitamins should include C, B complex, the essential fatty acids, and calcium with vitamin D |

Isn't this the same as with lites?? Sorry, lost the paper I had it written on! |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 5 months ago |
Sandy1, Purple no lites is as follows: 2 protein
It is the same as with lites except for the lites themselves. The difference is when you would be on purple. The drop is different without the lites. And, without the lites there are not any more drops after purple. |

I was a client of LA/Pureweigtloss until Jan when the cosed their doors. Like most I tried to maintain the plan, however without supplments and lites it was hard. I have lost over 65 lbs with this program, however I was gaining it back.. (found the supplements, and other products I used which helped me get back on track... However I the plan i was on when I stopped was purple and now I beleive I am back at a red.. Is it okay for me to go back to the red, until I reach the weight needed to go back onto the purple? |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 5 months ago |
Lus_ci_ouss, I need to know your height and current weight and whether you are using lites or a replacement to answer this question accurately. |

maggy o in Fort Lauderdale, Florida said: Hi Guys, do you know if this all Big Lots??? |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 5 months ago |
Airlineprincess, I don't know if it's all BigLots but I would caution you. That stuff does expire but the codes are not that easy to read. If the code says 26507 that means it was made on the 265th day of 2007. It's good for 6 months from the bottled date. |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 5 months ago |
Lus_ci_ouss, Are you using either lites or a replacement? If so, red plan. If not, red plus. Let me know and I'll give you the exact servings |

I have lites... Okay I will do the red plan.. I started take off yesterday so I will do it starting tomorrow.... 2 1/2 portin, 4 veggies, 3 starches, 3 fruit, 1 dairy,1 fat, 64 oz of water, 2 lites 1 tb morton salt.... right? |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 5 months ago |
anointedone123 , Do a fast forward then go back onto red if doing lites, red plus if not. Don't worry! You can do this! We all fall off sometimes...success only means coming back until you get to the goal! |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 5 months ago |
Lus_ci_ouss, You have it right and it sounds like you're off to a great start! Let me know if you need any help. |
