Ok, I am starting again, on my own also. I was on the purple plan and it worked great. I kept the weight off for 5 years, however the last few months have been hard after my car accident. I've gained 10 of the 40 I've lost, and I don't want to gain more. So I know how many proteins, fruits, etc to eat, however I could really use the food list from the purple plan. I can't seem to locate my original. Can anyone help me? |

[QalocoengineerUOTE who="razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania"]Red no lite plan: 2 1/2 protein, 4 vegetables, 3 fruit, 3 starch, 1 dairy, 1 fat
Trisha, Are you working out? If you're adding muscle that would be an easy explanation for why you're losing inches but not weight. Muscle does weigh more than fat, but it takes up less than half the room. Barb, A drop is the term for when you should change plans. If you tell me your height, weight, and what plan you were on I can give you the appropriate plan without the lites and also tell you when you should "drop" to the next plan. Hope this helps! |

alocoengineer, Use regular oranges...I don't know how many clementines to tell you and I don't know if they are as effective |

Hi, Raz. I have been trying LAWL on my own. I am not really sure what plan to use. I am 5'6", 265 pounds, 56 years old and do about two hours a week of bike riding and weight training. I was doing 2 protein, 4 vegetable, 3 fruit, 2 starch, 1 dairy, 1 fat and 2 protein bars and only lost a few pounds after 6 weeks. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help. I really appreciate your site. |

Hi |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 43 months ago |
Hi jab, Believe it or not your problem is that you're not getting enough food. Follow the red plan with bars. This is 2 1/2 protein, 4 vegetables, 3 fruit, 3 starch, 1 dairy, 1 fat, 2 bars. Try this for a week then let me know how things stand. |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 43 months ago |
anointedone, Which plan are you following at this point? Are you using bars? Remind me again what your height and weight are. Are you weighing and measuring everything? Are you getting all servings in? I ask all these questions becuase weight loss is a delicate balance...too much of anything and no loss...too little of anything and no loss. Let me know the details and we'll try to figure this out. |

Hello Raz...I was a member of pure weightloss and was on the purple plan when they with lites when they closed. I have not been on the plan for a little under a year now. I have gained 15 pounds and want desparately to start again. I am just under 5'9" and weigh 185 lbs. My original goal was 170, which I hit but was only able to stay at for a very short time. I would love to get to even 175 again. What plan should I be on without lites since the ones I pre-purchased are now impossible to obtain? Your advice is greatly appreciated and very much needed. Thank you! |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 42 months ago |
Frazzledjojo, Try the purple plan without the lites and let me know hoe that works. |

hey raz please help! i started on la weight loss like 4 years ago on the red plan and lost like 75 like i was 250 when i started and got down to 199 in almost 5 months. I ended up stopping beacause of a tight budget then started back again in 2006 but they put me on the purple plan which did not work for me. now i am close to 280 and desperately want to start the program again but i dont know what plan i should be on. also i would like to know what the free fooods are and i dont remember exactly what the servings are for each food group like how much of what type of bread im supposed to eat and all that stuff. can you help please???????????/ |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 42 months ago |
Missacruise, If you have a replacement for the lites go onto the red plan if not, do red 1 (red plus). I don't have the individual books memorized so the best thing I can suggest is to go onto Ebay and see if there are any books on sale...there often is. |

Okay, Raz! Can you help me out too? I am a returning client to LAWL had great successes for the last 6 yrs. I only stopped LAWL to get pregnant and then returned postpartum to lose my pregnancy weight. This time around I am breastfeeding also but only 7 weeks postpartum. I have two questions: 1. Is it too early to follow a food plan? 2. I think I would be doing the Red without lites. I went out on the Purple plan without lites. Is this right? Any special concerns or updated program concerns that I should be aware of. If I remember correctly, a few years ago when I returned, I had to be 12 weeks postpartum. IS that still a good guess? Thanks! |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 42 months ago |
Divadarlin, Yes, the red plan is it. And, I know this is disappointing but you must be at least 12 weeks postpartum...the baby should be beginning to wean. |

Raz, I have been on and off of the plan. More like off because I keep falling off between lunch and dinner and keep saying I'm going to start fresh tomorrow. Not having LA Lite have been hard for me because I have this thing for chocolate. Well now I'm going full force starting today because I have to get this weight back off. I do not have lites and was on the blue plan. From reading your past comments, I know that I should go the the Red plan w/out lites. I am going to do the oranges as you suggested, but the questions I have is should I do the TakeOff or the Fast Forward? Also, in the future when I decide to do the TakeOff, what do you suggest about the lites since I will not be using them? Is this going to be a problem? Should I add two more ounces of meat or just do the Takeoff as stated w/out lites? |

hey Raz I forgot to tell you too that i started exercising this week also im starting the fast forward tomorrow and then ill be doing the red plan like you told me so is me exercising going to change anything? im doing billys bootcamp. |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 42 months ago |
Missacruise, The only way exercise changes anything is if you're going to be exercising more than 5 hours per week on a regular basis. If you are then go on the red 1 (red plus) plan. If not the red plan will do it. |
|
missacruise in Utica, New York 42 months ago |
ok thanks. now what is the red plus plan? i looked that up and didnt see it on ebay. just the red plan period. im doing it without the lites too so am i supposed to add extra protein or what? im so excited! |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 42 months ago |
Missacruise, The red plan consists of: 2 1/2 protein
I don't have the books memorized to give all portions. The red plan uses the same portion size as the purple so see if you can find that...or red 1 |

Hello Raz, I have to tell you, I just got the opportunity to look back at all 17 pages of comments and questions and You are FANTASTIC AND A GOD SEND!! Personally, after finding out that the LAWL center that I was going to was closing, I was terrified. Over the last year I have tried to eat right and keep on track and then with a divorce and 2 moves I lost all my LAWL materials and just stopped. I origianlly lost 60 pounds on the program but am now up over 18 lbs and am dying to lose it. You told me to start the program as purple but I think I may have forgotten to give you all my information. I am between 5'8 and 5'9 and weigh 187. My goal is 170. I was on the gold plan when the center closed and I had hit a plateau. I have no lites, unfortunately, but am willing to try the Zone bars I have read so much about (unless you can suggest a really good tasting one). I have purchased from ebay a purple plan book and am awaiting the monthly diary. My plan is to start the program on monday after shopping sunday for all I need to succeed. I will do the Fast Forward with the oranges on monday and tuesday. After that, please let me know if I should continue with the gold or start again with the purple. If I need to start with the gold, please tell me the difference between it and the purple since I posess the purple plan. Thank God for you and all you are doing. I feel so betrayed and robbed by LAWL, you have given me and so many people hope again. Thank you....Joann |

Hello to All, First let me start by saying this forum Rocks. All of the questions and answers have been very help to so many whom before lost hope (including myself). Thanks for all of the help. After finding this site, it has given me the drive to start back on the program. Please anyone, I need help. I was always on the blue plan with lites. I'm starting the plan again without lites. I believe I should be on the red plan. Can someone confirm this for me? Also, when it comes to foods such as eggs, peanut butter, and nuts, what are the protein portion? Also, what is the nut portion for fat? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 42 months ago |
Jaylo, You're right you would be on the red plan. You can either try to get a red book on Ebay. Or you can follow the blue but add 1 vegetable serving and increase the protein portions by 2 oz. I'm sorry but I don't have the books memorized. I know the peanut butter portion is 3 Tablespoon but don't remember the counts on the nuts themselves. |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 42 months ago |
Frazzledjojo, If you're going to use something to replace the lites you would be on gold. In order to use the purple book but be on gold have 1 less vegetable serving and decrease the size of protein portions by 2 oz. Otherwise the plans are the same. |

ok i have a question raz, well two questions. when you start the program you do fast forward right? which is 4 oranges for day one and four for day 2 with unlimited proteins and veggies?im doing the red plan like you advised me to but i have no lites so does that mean the beef is 8 oz and chicken 10 oz? or is it the same? |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 42 months ago |
missacruise, You have the Fast Forward right. And, the red protein portion is the same...beef 6 oz and chicken (white meat) 8 oz |

Hello. I was on LAWL about two years ago then stopped when I found out I was pregnant, then when I went to return about a year later - they were closed. I need help! I weight 185 and am about 5'3'' I am doing take off today and tomorrow - I ordered the juice online. I don't have any lites so I don't plan on using any. I loved Excel if anyone knows where I can get them or what to supplement? Which plan should I follow?

I used LA weight loss approx 10 years ago and did well. It was very expensive. In last 2years I have gained 80lbs due to my thyroid being blown out by radioactive iodine to treat Grave's disease. The weight gain was devastating and old friends dont even recognize me. Anyway I recently found my purple plan after all these years. While researching info I found this wonderful forum. I am 5'4" and weigh 202 lbs. I have no clue wether to do the purple plan ( substitute the lite bars) or do I need to follow a different plan??? Last time I did it I did not weigh this much. If anyone could help please make suggestions. It will be greatly appreciated! I work 12 hr shifts 3-4 times weekly as a nurse and walking 1hour on days off. |

[QjgugytyUOTE who="razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania"]Purple no lite plan: 2 protein, 4 vegetable, 3 fruit, 2 starch, 1 fat, 1 dairy The proteing size is 6 oz instead of 4 oz for beef and 8 oz instead of 6 oz for chicken. *** There are NO drops from purple no lite plan **** Red no lite plan: 2 1/2 protein, 4 vegetables, 3 fruit, 3 starch, 1 dairy, 1 fat
Red 1 no lite plan: 2 1/2 protein, 4 vegetables, 4 fruits, 4 starch, 2 dairy, 1 fat If you were on green or gold, move to purple. If you were on purple, move to red. And if you were on red, move to red 1. The drop sequence can not be posted as easily. It is based upon your height and ideal weight. But, I can tell you that if you are following the plan and you reach a plateau that won't break odds are you might be near a drop point. When deciding if you will make the drop be honest with yourself about how well you are following the plan. If you're following it exactly then try the drop.[hiksfnvklsrdnfbhgizrhiz/QUOTE] |

Hi Raz, Just wondering if you could help me to figure out what plan I should use. I am 5'5 195 and 26. My goal is to be around 130lbs. I am willing to get luna bars to replace the La Lites. Also, could you let me know what the exchanges are for the plan that best fits me. Thanks!! |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 41 months ago |
cubbstumf, Start out on the purple plan... 2 protein
Continue on purple until you begin to plateu (will likely happen between 180-189) then swith to gold. Gold has 1 less vegetable and the protein size goes down by 2 oz. ** To anyone I did not answer - I have been able to log in but for whatever reason the forum was not letting me post. I sent an email to tech support but did not get an answer. I've been trying each time I sign in and finally it's letting me post. If I did not answer your question please repost...I've lost track of who I have not been able to answer |

Hi Raz....what a Godsend you are!! I was on the Blue Plan (with Lites) had a baby and when I went back they were gone! I have no lites, should I do the red plan with no lites? i am 5 feet short and weigh 180 pounds. My goal is to lose 50 pounds. Thanks for your help!! |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 41 months ago |
missj1035, Are you still nursing? If you are then do red plus. If not, start with red |
|
razmataz in West Chester, Pennsylvania 41 months ago |
cubbstumf, For purple proteins do 8 oz for lean proteins like fish and white meat chicken...6 oz for less lean choices like beef and dark meat chicken. If you can see if you can get a book on Ebay...purple has the same portion size as red so if you can't get a purple book use the red for measurments and the counts that I gave you for purple. |

annieoop, Start with red plus if not doing the lites. You can do the 2 day FastForward with either the oranges (4 per day) or the juice since you have it...whatever you prefer. The Fast Forward is a cleansing, not really intended for weight loss...if you lose its a bonus. Rememberr, Fast Forward is unlimited proteinn and unlimited green veggies along with the oranges or juice. At 259 drop to the regular red...then you can move to purple at 209. If not using the lites the purple is the lowest plan |
