Heidi Bilonick in MORGANTOWN,, West Virginia said: Hi... I worked for LA as a Director of Training for many years. I left Corp. and went to Franchise when Harold and Vahan split. I worked for franchise, then was fired. (I didn/t know they were splitting (PERMANANTLY)and tried to go back to corp. and franchise didn't like that). Anyway... I thought my world had come to an end...being one of the "uppers". In reality, I started my own company and was hired by LA franchisees to help them turn their companies around. I am a life coach now, thriving and doing very well. I have tons of experience with this company, loss, fear, hate, love..all of it. I am offering my coaching services for FREE to anyone who wants it. This is an offer for clients as well as employees. Please look me up on myspace... search Heidi Bilonick. My web site is www.youandimproved.org. But Myspace is the easiet for me and the best way. Wow... Heidi, we often wondered what happened to you here in St. Louis. Glad to see you are doing well. |

Heidi- Since you said you worked for both corporate and franchise LA, do you think the franchises will eventually feel the heat for everything that has happened? What do you assume might happen to the franchises? Will LA be disappearing soon nationwide? Jane |

karen2112 in philadelphia, Pennsylvania said: So what if she did or if she didnt-sounds to me that you are just trying to scrape at anything you can. Look who is calling the kettle black---give me a break. Why would anyone from accounting even be considered to attend a conference-YOU WERE ACCOUNTING- Give me a break. The only reason that there was a conference was to blow money. Do you really think that ANYTHING that we did in Vegas was worthwhile? NO! Besides late night rendezvous anyway. That was just a way to waste money. Accounting shouldn't have been there you are right. They had real work to do! |

EMPLOYEE TURNOVER - the ratio of the number of workers that had to be replaced in a given time period to the average number of workers. www.missouribusiness.net/cq/2002/reducing_employee_turnover.asp 1. First, hire the right people and continue to develop their careers.
If your company follows these steps and shows a genuine concern for the well being of your employees, you may not have to pay the highest wages n town to have the lowest employee turnover rate. What was our Turnover rate??? 60-70%. If i worked in HR i would want to improve those FAILING numbers. The HR department/ Hiring Department and CEO Failed!! www.businessknowhow.com/manage/turnover.htm Keep an eye on your managerial style Let’s face it. Many people flee their jobs because of the boss man (or woman). The reasons are varied but include: -Negative or disrespectful words, attitude or actions
SOUNDS LIKE LA/PURE/RAIN!! GREAT JOB RUINING THE COMPANY!!! |

I said that before!! the Attorney General Number is listed here, just in case: Pennsylvania residents can file a complaint by calling 1-877-888-4877 or going to "health care complaints" at www.attorneygeneral.gov. Customers from other states can call 1-717-705-6938 and should also call the Attorney General's Office in their home state, Frederiksen said. Dont Wait CALL NOW. |

The Bureau is unable to process complaints once a company goes out of business; therefore, consumers are urged to file complaints with their state or with the Pennsylvania state Attorney General. Please check back with us for further updates. BBB - Better Business Bureau |

Heidi Bilonick in MORGANTOWN,, West Virginia said: I feel the same way. When I was with LA.. being paid by them...they would just say..."Let her go!" I did a training in Vegas on when and how to fire people...it costs 6 times as much to hire a new person than to keep an existing one. With that said...trainers would do training after training on employee retention. But with the old saying floating around, "You're only as good as your last week's #s", no one really listened. When I had the chance to run markets and be paid directly by the franchise owners, I saw it very differently. We had a low turnover and people loved their jobs. It wasn't fear beased. No one thougth thier pink slip was being faxed. No one cringed when the one's and fives were called in. In fact, people called me, or their direct supervisor before the ones to stratagize or to just get remotivated. No one at LA corp. said.. "Hey, you're awesome...I believe in you. What's up?" They would say..."Get them up now!" WELL SAID and thanks for the backup. i know some people at corporate that were let go and heard stories about how unethical they went about it. The HR departement was a failure. Lesia for one was ambushed i heard. hope she got a good severence. Wonder what happened to her. how she is? |

I can't get over the entertainment value of this Pure blog... There are a lot of people on this site that I haven't seen in a while... When is the next Pure bashing gathering in the Philly area? I am a crapped on corporate employee, and I am holding on to my resentments for a few more days...but I'll get over it!!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you all (loyal or not), as well as the few remaining friends I still have at corporate (knowing that there are so few left). How's it going Rob Real Estate? HI Cindy! |

WOW.. every morning I log into my email (because I am too busy to stay up all night.. kids, too)
Here is the difference... we, lower management, were thinking of customers and employees on the front lines and upper management... Well they were thinking about $$$$$$ despite employees or customers.. .HENCE, the demise of the company. Now, I was okay thinking that Vahan and upper mgt. just made some bad judgement calls, but I am ticked thinking that they did the same thing with Quick Weight Loss and now LAWL.. screwing customers!!! Any input on this... |

UNFORTUNATELY MAYBE THEY HAVE MOVED ON AND LEFT THE PEOPLE STILL IN CENTERS TO DEAL WITH THE CLIENTS (WITH NO LITES) AND TO PACK THE FILES THAT THEY WILL PROBALBLY JUST THROW AWAY. |

Turnover rates can be lowered if they do care for the employees. |

AND alot of companies do care for them (employees) and make sure that they do. Its called employee retention. Go back to school and study about making a good business. Ever hear of GOOGLE. Check out how they treat their employees. They have there own cafeteria in the building, day care.... you make no sense. |
