This site is a scream! I haven't been on here in weeks, just dropped by to say guess what? I think loyal is selling lites on ebay! Maybe her paycheck bounced, & so she feels entitled but it was rather crappy of her to take bars that were bought by her clients. There are quite a few, one from the Bronx NY selling tons of crap on there that she supposedly "bought". Oh well more power to them

Check out ebay guys. Before the Attorney General shuts them all down, that is. Good Luck. I got a new job and hope you do too.

I'm sure some of the people selling stuff on ebay are clients just trying to re-coup some of the money they lost....I know I have 2 boxes of bars and i thing of shakes and have been thinking of selling it....especially b/c people are paying out the ying-yang for it. I'm also sure there are employees doing the same since they got screwed as well....which does stink b/c it isn't theirs to sell...but they also got screwed...so it's kinda a weird situation.

Has anyone heard any scoop on the franchised LA Weight Losses? Will they be going under too eventually? I know a guy named Barry Goodman owned over 100 of them and has shut down about 30 locations within the last month. Neal Smith was another big franchisee out of Birmingham and he sold his units back to corporate due to bancruptcy (why corporate LAWL took them back is beyond me)...Just curious what the word is on the street about the franchised units? Bet the Bars will be getting stale as there will be much less demand for their manufacturing now that PURE is gone!

Hi to all. Have heard various rumors about the franchises everywhere from "they are honoring the Pure contracts" to "they are all closing" to "they are all staying open" I don't know what to believe and I don't think anyone knows, really. How bout you guys out there? Anyone? ITA with Karma name is now tarnished, forever.

I wonder how much money was used to start this company that was open for 3 weeks.

The part that is reall interesting to me is WHY start a business and have it open for 3 weeks and then close it that fast. First, the company wasnt even open a month so they could not tell if it was going to be a success or a flop. Second, was he planning on opening it again?

That is what really intrigues me.........

With Pennsylvania's attorney general seeking to freeze the assets of Pure Weight Loss, a now-defunct diet chain based in Horsham, and of its owner Vahan Karian, what are former employees to do?

Pure Weight Loss operated more than 400 locations across the country, including 47 in Pennsylvania. It announced on Dec. 14 that it was closing Jan. 4. The company filed for Chapter 7 protection Jan. 11 in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Philadelphia.

The attorney general told Inquirer staff writer Stacey Burling that Pure Weight Loss employees who are owed money by the company can file complaints with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. To find the complaint form for unpaid wages, go to the department's Web site.

Under the Quick Links section on the righthand part of the homepage, click "Labor Law Compliance". On the next page, choose "wage payment and collection law". That's where you'll find the complaint form.

Companies that do not pay employees properly face civil penalties of 10 percent of the money due and criminal penalites of $300 per offense plus jail time of 90 days per offense, said Justin Fleming, spokesman for the department.

Hello Everyone..My goal is not about revenge it is about what is right. The public our clients think that we knew the entire time. For all of the employees that worked till the end they should have been paid. Your last check and it bounced..that is just wrong.I loved my job and the clients. What happened to all of us should not be. Either you stand for something or you will fall for anything. (like Terk) I believe that she is really Nikki Fryer. If the media does not hear from us they will continue to focus on the clients/consumers. We are consumers also!!

Please let me know who is doing the interviewing and is the end result going to be getting my money owed? I am really not interested in doing this just to Bash the Company, I want to do it to get my money.

i was upper management and traveled all over upstate. i quite a while before the downfall there, but kept up with alot of the ladies in the centers b/c i had been there for over 4 years.

i meant to ask you which center you were in. If you don't want to tell me, that's fine. were you a client for long?

Rain is closed - there is nobody working in a RAIN center. In fact, the two rain centers were closed prior to Pure centers closing.
