What are the average starting salaries, bonuses, benefits and travel requirements like at Qualcomm?

What do you like best about working at Qualcomm? Are there any great perks or special treats for employees?

Not too many perks offered at QC, bonus structure not as good as other companies. QC overall is a great company to work for.

I just accepted my offer and am going to start next week so I don't know much about the perks in the workplace besides the free coffee and bottles of water. They claim (and have heard from folks who work there) to have pretty flexible working hours, but I don't know how much that will actually be utilized until starting work there.

I DO know that you can do VERY well for yourself when you get hired at Qualcomm. My 2 biggest points of advice (after obviously completely acing your interview) is to have a good competing offer in-hand when Qualcomm give you their offer and to have very very strong referrals. Qualcomm LOVE to compete for top talent. If you completely smash your interview and there is even a minute possibility you will walk to another offer, they will more than willingly max out the salary in your level's range as well as your sign-on bonus and stock options. In addition, if you need to relocate, their relocation package is actually very good and your HR rep will bend over backwards to get you any additional relocation bonuses if it means pulling you away from your competing offer.

Oh, another perk for working at Qualcomm is that you get your own office pretty much the day that you start. Their medical is very good (vision and dental are average) and they have on-site gyms. Their 401k and employee stock purchase program is also very good. A lot of this stuff is available publicly:
